CURRENT NEWS
August 2003 we broke the rear end in the Lakester so we
have been working to fix it. Also, we are redoing the
front and rear suspension and narrowing each of them putting
coil over shocks on.
We finally got the Streamliner back on the Salt Flats in
2004 and had all kinds of bad luck. We built a B Motor
up from the C Motor that we had in 2002. The motor ran
real well, but the rear end failed at Speed Week. We
went home fixed it and came back in September for the world of
Speed. We made one run at 313 MPH and the wind blew and
the rain came we were never able to run again. Next was the
World Finals in October. The salt was perfect, the
weather was perfect Richard was on the throttle real
hard and when he shifted to 3rd gear, BANG, transmission
broke. We were really disappointed we knew things were
all coming together. So we have plenty to do this
winter, we are working on both cars trying to get them both
ready for 2005.
